Transitions
Why do we need them?
Transitions help your reader out by establishing connections between different ideas within your writing. They are almost like road signs for your audience because they explain to readers how to relate, compare, organize, react to, and think about your sentences and paragraphs. Your job is to pick the right word or phrase to signal to your audience how to put your ideas together.
Where do I need to put them?
You need transitions both within and between paragraphs.
